Care Guide
Love Your Towels, and They’ll Love You Back
Your ARID towels are made from 100% organic cotton - a natural fibre that thrives when cared for the right way. Left to bake in the sun or treated harshly, cotton can lose its softness and turn dry or scratchy. But when you keep it happy; a little humidity, gentle washing, and mindful drying, it stays as plush, absorbent, and luxurious as the day it first touched your skin.
Follow our care guide below to protect your investment and keep every wrap, pat, and cuddle just as dreamy as the first.
-
CLEAN
Ensure to use natural detergents to protect the integrity of the towel.
Avoid using softeners or oxidising/chlorine based bleaching agents.
Fabric softeners and bleach coat and weaken the cotton fibres, reducing absorbency and shortening your towel’s life
-
WASH
Towels are to be washed on a cold / low temperature cycle (40 degrees).
Washing on a cold or low temperature protects the organic cotton fibres, keeping your towels softer for longer and colours vibrant wash after wash.
-
DRY
For optimal softness we recommend a tumble dry on low heat. Do not dry clean.
*If line drying is your thing- line dry in shade until 80% dry and then finish them off drying indoors or in the tumble dryer for the fluffiest finish.
